Hi everyone!! I usually do not post, I mostly just read what you all discuss but

I am in need of some clarity. Last night I saw the documentary, Food Matters,

hosted by my chiropractor. It pretty much talked about what most of us know, the

overuse of medicines, the poor quality of our soil, how toxic we all are,

pharmaceutical greed etc....

The overall lessons were to eat at least 80% raw veggies and fruits and other

" super foods " , yoga and meditation, and detox through the bowels.

They were saying that its much easier to digest raw plant based food then a

steak. I kept waiting for the mention of raw milk, raw fermented foods and

drinks, grass fed beef etc.... but nothing!! On a good note, there was no

mention of soy be a health food. Anyway, I am wondering if because we are so

toxic in this day and age that a plant based diet(or at least mosstly)is best

because of the detoxing nature of these foods. (I have read that veggies

especially veggie juice, is very detoxing to our bodies from Dr. Natasha

Campell-McBride--author of GAPS)I am looking forward to your replies.

Thank you,

Debbie
