Guest guest Posted January 7, 2012 Report Share Posted January 7, 2012 Hi Everyone, My Dr's office called me last week and they got the approval to have the surgery on my right ankle. Finally, at last!!!! Now they will call me back on date of the surgery. It will be somewhere around the 2nd week of Feb. I saw another Dr for my left knee and I told him how I was feel and where the pain was in the knee. He suggest to do the cortisone shot. My goodness that hurt like hell. But it's seem to be working. If the shot doesn't work then I have to have a total knee replacement. Ohh!!! what fun this going to be. THINK NOT!!! But I hope to get some relieve from the ankle. He will straighten my foot then do the fusion. The Dr. said it will take away the pain. I'm really hoping this will work. This is the 3rd surgery I'm having on the ankle. Very frustrating being in pain constantly and the idiot Dr won't give me the pain med. I can't anything accomplish around my apt. I have to wait on the good day to get things done.
