Guest guest
Hi Pam, I'm hypo after taking ptu for Graves'. I'm not sure how many hyper people are using LDN yet but the effect "should" be to lower your autoantibodies, which would make you less hyper. You would then need to decrease your ptu based on labwork (FT4 and FT3). LDN does seem to be very helpful against thyroid eye disease. You can get additional info at the thyroid and alternative treatments site, AHSTA.com. Best wishes, , ptu for Graves' 2002-5, hypothyroid (high TBII antibodies) since then
Guest guest
" Document is called: Waiora mara clinic " I would definitely love to see the whole thing as I am currently working on my thyroid issues. Can also highly recommend Dr. Brownstein's book, Overcoming Thyroid Disorders. After reading it recently, I now feel armed with the information I need to convince my M.D. that the blood tests aren't enough. I have dozens of symptoms of hypothyroidism but couldn't get a prescription for natural thyroid because of those darn blood tests that claim I have normal thyroid functioning. Dr. Brownstein's book covers it all, including the adrenal connection. " We live off of what comes out of the soil, not what's in the bank. If we squander the ecological capital of the soil, the capital on paper won't much matter... For the past 50 or 60 years, we have followed industrialized agricultural policies that have increased the rate of destruction of productive farmland. For those 50 or 60 years, we have let ourselves believe the absurd notion that as long as we have money we will have food. If we continue our offenses against the land and the labor by which we are fed, the food supply will decline, and we will have a problem far more complex than the failure of our paper economy. Remember, if our agriculture is not sustainable then our food supply is not sustainable... Either we pay attention or we pay a huge price, not so far down the road. When we face the fact that civilizations have destroyed themselves by destroying their farmland, it's clear that we don't really have a choice.
