Guest guest
Rubbermaid containers, at least all of mine, are polypropylene (#5). One of the safer plastics (BPA, PVC and Phthalate free). It could probably still leech some chemicals, but there aren't many alternatives when it comes to gardening - the stone pots all seem to be glazed and unlike foodware the glazes are not regulated. -Lana " There is nothing more useful than sun and salt. Guest guest
Thanks Lana. I had not thought about checking with the company to see which they were made of. Silly me I usually do that kind of thing. Anyhow my thoughts were - not cooking so over all should be fine. --- In , Lana Gibbons <lana.m.gibbons@...> wrote: > > Rubbermaid containers, at least all of mine, are polypropylene (#5).
