Guest guest Posted March 17, 2008 Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 Dear All, Regional AIDS Training Center and Network in India (RATNEI), a training wing of International Health Organization conducted 3 days training programme on " HIV AIDS Prevention and Education Part I " successfully from 14th March- 16th March 2008. Training programme was inaugurated by Honorable Science and Technology Minister of Bihar, Mr Anil Kumar and Guest of Honour at the inaugural session was Dr Devendra Prasad, Joint Director, BSACS. Minister applauded the role of RATNEI in creating awareness among general population and organising such advanced training in Bihar. He very strongly spoke against the discrimination. Participants from different parts of Bihar, WB, Jharkhand and Nepal participated in the training.Resource persons in this training programme included Dr A S Rathore,NICD, Dr Devendra Prasad, BSACS, Dr Diwakar Tejaswi,IHO, Members from BNP+, Counsellors from PMCH, Jaiprabha Model Blood Bank, Dr Vijay Kumar, PMCH. After post test and evaluation, certificate were distributed by the chief guest, Dr Narendra Prasad, Eminent Surgeon of Bihar on 16th of March 2008. He spoke about Universal Works Precaution to be undertaken by HCW. Next 3 day modular training programme for physicians on ART and various issues will be conducted from 18th April till 20th April 2008 at SCADA business center, Patna.
