I have a friend in his 30s and in his words 'scrawny'. He wants to start

body building and to be bigger, bulkier and fitter. He's been into all

the body building powders and I'm trying to talk him out of it and into

more Weston A Price style eating. The products he's been taking are

expensive but, in his words 'effective' in that he has put on weight and

muscle in a short amount of time for the first time in his life. He is

open to the WAPF way of eating but needs it to be simple and not too

daunting without too much food prep. Do you have advice as to the best

dietary approach for him? Also, regarding timing and type of food around

weight training.

Two of the products that seem to have been really effective that he's

been taking are: Palm Oil (MCT) and Creatine. He's also been taking an

Androjack product (horny goat weed, etc --> ie a herbal testosterone

booster) - this product made him wake up very awake in the mornings,

boosted his energy and stimulated facial hair growth.

We've read Chris' article on the WAPF website about Vit A and

bodybuilding. We're coaxing him into kefir smoothies with egg yolks in

the mornings. Replace MCT with Coconut Oil? Is that the same? How about

creatine?

Thanks,

Filippa
