Friend in hospital, does anyone know side effects of primrose oil

I have a friend who is a paraplegic in a wheel chair. He is one of the

coolest people I know and one night 3 weeks ago he started vomiting

and couldn't stop. They took him to the hospital and his gallbladder

and pancreas are swollen. They want to wait for the swelling to go

down to take out the gallbladder. They have him in the hospital

drugged out of his mind on pain killers, feeding him through an iv and

they wake him up every other hour at night to take his bp or do some

other inane action that keeps him from getting deep sleep at night.

When i went to visit him I saw multi-colored containers on his

nightstand, I don't know if it was jello or some other sugar

containing substance that they brought to him. I kept all my

observations, judgments, disgust to myself but interestingly out of

nowhere he asks me to research any side effects of primrose oil b/c

that is supposed to help with a swollen pancreas.

I am truly fearful for his life while he is in the hospital and I want

to help him get this oil if he believes it will help him. Belief is

the most important part but I honestly don't know what the side

effects are with primrose oil. If anyone knows anything about this, I

would be indebted to you if you share this info with me.
