Good price for sauerkraut?

Can anyone tell me what would be considered a decent price for raw organic

sauerkraut? I've seen prices ranging from $5 to $10 for a 15 oz 15oz.

Also, has anyone tried buying a pail of raw sauerkraut? It seems like better

value but I wonder about the practicalities of shipping and refrigerating that

sort of quantity (the pails seem to be either 1 gallon or 5 gallons).
