Guest guest
Hi Dan, i'm curious about the protein intake... i thot studies have shown the body can only absorb so much protein at a time... wouldn't you be wasting all that extra protein and just end up seeing it in your waste? i know timing is a big part of absorption too... one thing is absorption... another question is digestion. what about working with basic building blocks of protein so that your body can put together the protein and save the extra steps of breaking down the protein only to have to build it back up for the body to use? also... protein build up or excess can lead to other harmful health issues too, can't it? Guest guest
I think your body will discard more protein if you are having adequate fat and carbs. However, 60% of dietary protein can be converted to fat or carbs. So yeah, a higher protein intake is a possibility. I do notice my body doesn't really digest more than 90 grams of protein in a day at my current 250 pounds. I did more research on amino acid intake and I think it is hogwash. Studies that suggest a high intake of glutamine are for burn victims where there body has lost a lot of muscle proteins and this cannot recycle them. In this case amino acid supplementation and probably a higher protein intake can be beneficial. For other however when we workout our muscle breakdown but the broken down tissue can be recycled and reused as protein. There were studies on athletes with a high glutamine intake compared to another group with a high carb intake and it was found that neither group acquired better muscle building results over the other. Individuals that get improved muscle growth from high glutamine intake most likely are not getting enough carbs or fat in there diet so this glutamine is being utilized as a much needed fuel source. Guest guest
So right now I think that 0.36g of protein per a pound of bodyweight is ideal. Especially after finding out your body recycles muscle proteins. Guest guest
interesting... i never realized the body can reuse protein in the body. i guess that's the most efficient way to work... make use of what's available. thanks for the feedback, i'll definitely look into this idea more! having read about nutrient timing and now learning more about content of the nutrients for this method, I think i can get the most bang for my buck in time and resources by providing my body the right amounts of the right qualities of the right types of nutrition...at the right times. Guest guest
Colostrum can be considered a whole food source. Here are the legal steroids on my list: Winny, Anadrol or Hemadrol with is natural, Trenbolone, and D-Bol. Colostrum too which can be considered a natural steroid. I'll experiment but ultimately I'll probably just go with colostrum and whole food. That and other magnesium stearate free supplements such as wheat germ oil, black currant seed oil etc. Yours Truly, Dan Holt On May 7, 2009, at 5:42 AM, Steve Max <stevemaxchillin@...> wrote: Hi Dan Im doing similar things but without the supplements, to avoid any processed or synthetic foods or products.
