Adrenal cortex vs. adrenal glandulars supplements

Does anyone know what the difference is and why a person would take one over the

other? I know the cortex is outer part of the adrenals but why would someone

just take cortex for support, why not take the whole glandular?

This sounds kind of wacky to me. If I came across this information, I might

wonder if the author knew what he was talking about.

I take pregnenolone for my adrenals.

Why does it sound wacky? the adrenal cortex is the membrane surrounding the

adrenals where the adrenal hormones are synthesized. An extract from the cortex

only will have much higher levels of active adrenal hormones.
