need info on tonsil removal

Hi,

Hope eveyone is having as good a day as possible.

Since 3rd surgery day for my 24 y/o daughter Kari...seems just around

the bend....thought i'd ask those who have had tonsil removal and or

titanium mesh added to respond.

Kari and I feel that she was helped by each prior surgeries and was a

success at least she was given relief...for short periods of time

after each surgery.

Unfortunately she had some " minor accidents and falls which may have

or may not have brought on the reoccureance of her symptoms....her

csf flow is again diminshed and the tonsils reherniated....so now she

is facing the 3rd surgery.

I would personally like to hear pros and cons....regarding thisw nxt

surgery and if I can help anyone else....or answers questions..pls

ask away.

Kari's orginially was misdiagnosed for over 3-4 yrs w/truama onset

chiari....involving a car accident in Feb 96'....a 19 y/o then &

senior in college...she had everything going for her...she was never

the same after being the 3rd of a 4 car accident....truck behind her

pushed her into the car in front.....

anyway...I am anxious to hear from you guys....and tahnks again for

all the continued support and help.....from you at WACMA are the

only ones that truly know...from where I speak......
