I used to have warts on my hands and similarly tried various topical

treatments. But they finally resolved on their own after I started

eating lacto-fermented foods like raw sauerkraut and kombucha.

You can try applying iodine several times a day.

Isn't olive leaf extract also a potent anti-viral? Perhaps oil of

oregano. Either of them, applied to the skin directly.

I also seem to recall reading about some amino acid that might be

useful as a supplement but it has eluded my recall... In the way that

L-lysine can be helpful for cold sores, but I don't think it is L-

lysine.

Olive leaf extract and oregano oil are both anti-fungal and also anti-

viral. I just checked WikiAnswers and warts are caused by the

Papilloma virus, so L-Lysine should be helpful. Eating coconut oil may

help. Anything to balance the system in favor of a less hospitable

environment for viral overgrowth.

Deb,

If milkweed grows wild near you, try applying its white " sap " to the wart a few

times a day -- as many times as you think of it. I've heard that people have had

good results in as short as a week.

Another option is applying Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) directly onto the wart

a couple of times daily. Nutribiotic is a reliable brand that I know a handful

of people have had success in removing warts with.

Good luck!

I'm not sure if this works on warts, but it does work for me on moles.

I drank " alkaline " water made in a machine that uses electrolysis to

create two batches of water (alkaline and acid). The couple of moles I

had slowly dried up and flaked off leaving new, pink skin beneath (there

were other bodily benefits seen). When I stopped drinking the water,

the moles returned. After a couple of periods on and off the water, I

made the connection - the cause and effect. Megahydrin is a powdered

(silica-based) product that seems to have a similar effect - in pill

form. The home-use water machines are fairly new on the scene and

readily available via the internet (but not inexpensive). -=mark=-

I can¹t believe I forgot to mention Km.

http://www.matol.com/corpo/hCenter/wpKmHc.aspx?lang=EN_US

This stuff is amazing in it¹s ability to get rid of warts. It¹s a supplement

and if you take it everyday for a month or two your warts will dissolve away

 painlessly.

I had a friend in high school that had warts all over his hands along with a

really big one on his finger. He took this and they all disappeared and

never came back. In college, I worked at a health club and trainer had a

wart the size of ping pong ball on his leg. You could see the lump through

his sweats. He said he wouldn¹t wear shorts because it was so gross. He took

this stuff and a month or two later it was gone. I know for a fact that it

works.

The only drawback is that it lists parabens in the ingredients. Parabens are

preservatives and have been found in breast tumors research is still being

done to determine which came first the parabens or the tumor.

Good luck.

Tumors cause parabens? I doubt that... <g>

The question is do tumors absorb/utilize parabens or do parabens cause

tumors.

electricity does such wonderful things with insect bites, poison ivy and such,

that it may do something to warts, which I understand is a virus infection of

some sort.
