Why did our brains shrink?

So I've read our brains shrank 3% 30,000 years ago and then shrank another 5%

10,000 years ago for a total of 8%.

Is this because we as a whole culture may have stopped practicing canabalism?

Just a theory.

Then again the aborignes would eat other humans and their brains aren't bigger

than our own.
