So thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions! I did low carb for several months a year ago and lost 20 lbs., but after two out-of-town trips it fell by the wayside and I have gained more than that amount back. I felt great and energetic on the Atkins diet, but when I started again a week or so ago I felt so lethargic that I gave up after two days. This past weekend I went shopping and can no longer fit into size 18 and decided something drastic has to be done! Anyway,this is my second day this time around and I feel great! My husband is also low carbing, but since he has had a couple heart attacks and high cholesterol I try to use soy products as much as possible instead of the meat (tofu, meat " fakes " , etc.).
