Guest guest
Hi Amy Your doctor may be able to prescribe LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone). It has really helped me with my pain. If he's a doctor who's open to what is generally considered 'alternative' then he will/should know about it. The LDN sites can give you an idea too - as well as the LDN Yahoo groups too (lowdosenaltrexone , ldn_users and LDN Now, or LDN Research Trust) All of thes can help you locate a doctor who can prescribe it - just in case! He sees his doctor on Monday who is into alternative therapies so I can ask him about it. For some reason I think he tried it years ago but only for a couple of weeks and gave up. His neurologist told him it wouldn't help and he believed him, but now he is getting more open minded after having improvements after CCSVI when his neurologist said it was a scam. Funny how prescriptions couldn't help with restless leg and sleep, but a procedure worked wonders and got him off 1/2 a dozen meds. Thanks again for your input. We will see.
