Guest guest
How do I say this without sounding a freak? There are so called placebo effects with many things. For me " placebo " is when the body gets after something itself, and we have no idea why it works. The mind is very powerful and it sure knows more than we'd think. I believe there is more to CCSVI, Prokarin, etc. than one reads initially and if neuros and skeptics want to put it down to placebo that is fine by me. I think anything we go after (whether it be the aforementioned) we should stick by. Personally I believe in CCSVI NOT as a placebo, have studied its science and it makes sense but if someone were to rubbish it (as my ex neuro) I still think he is missing something. Prokarin is perhaps the same. You need to believe in something or it is doomed to failure before you start. Don't really know - just talking outloud here. Janet To: mscured From: wprice@... Sorry for being blunt, but I think you are doomed for failure right out of the gates with that kind of expectation. There are no silver bullets. Most of what works for most people seem to work because of their determination to make it work. You don't seem to have any determination. If that's the case, nothing will work for you and you are wasting your time and money. Some people have been " cured " of their MS symptoms solely because they have " faith " in their cures, whatever they may be. If you don't have faith, you will never improve. You need to win the battle of your mind, first. Giving Prokarin 2 to 3 weeks to work " or else " is not having faith. It's just proving what already seems to be what you have made up in your mind. Hope this helps you.
Guest guest
Please could you give anybody give me the phone no. for prokarin (I am ordering from the uk) I would be really grateful for this I`ve sent about 8 emails to the group asking if anyone knows this and no one has replied. Many thanks Judith miller ________________________________ From: mscured [mailto:mscured ] On Behalf Of Alan Samston Sent: Saturday, April 09, 2011 9:49 PM To: mscured Subject: Re: Placebo (was Re: Prokarin Day 2 Update) Janet, I do agree and personally I think both Prokarin and CCSVI are placebo. But I also think that if Placebo works, that is if the person believes in it strongly enough, their mind will create those changes in the body. So to that extent it is great and bring on the placebo. For me, since I don't believe in Prokarin or CCSVI the placebo effect isn't going to work. I was been blasted by this group just for trying to make Janet feel better and admitting I was a worrier and that is why I posted the " restenosis will happen " article. I frankly have not gotten worse in the past 3 of the 5 years that I have had PPMS and that is because of all the natural things I have done. So those of you preaching at me, need not worry. I have full mobility and full use of my arms and legs and all of my other symptoms have stayed stable--so I think you should worry about yourselves instead of displacing your issues on me. ________________________________ From: Janet Orchard <janetorchard@... <mailto:janetorchard%40hotmail.com> > To: MS-Cured <mscured <mailto:mscured%40yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Sat, April 9, 2011 3:40:07 PM Subject: RE: Placebo (was Re: Prokarin Day 2 Update) How do I say this without sounding a freak? Guest guest
Stillpoint Center for Integrative Medicine Temecula, California (951)461-4800 I talked with Dr. Woeller. He writes the prescription and sends it to Custom RX compounding pharmacy and they mail it to you. The phone consultation costs $200 for 30 minutes. The Prokarin is free (at the moment) for the first month, $230 thereafter. Dr. Woeller writes a refill prescription for one month, at which point he wants to do a follow-up before writing ongoing prescriptions. The information s going into the file. > Please could you give anybody give me the phone no. for prokarin (I am > ordering from the uk) I would be really grateful for this I`ve sent > about 8 emails to the group asking if anyone knows this and no one has > replied.
