Guest guest
One of the most common gold alloys is with Palladium. Palladium is extremely toxic and commonly immune reactive, similar to mercury, except unlike mercury it isn't a gas at room temperature and doesn't continuously vaporize to mercury vapor. But it does have the galvanic " battery effect " of mixed metals in an electrolyte(saliva) which pumps the metal into the oral cavity and from there throughout the body. There is also a good chance that your gold crown was placed over amalgam, which can cause even higher mercury and toxic metal exposures than a regular filling. www.flcv.com/galv.html Its unlikely the NCD will resolve many of your problems in the long term. In a similar situation, I got my gold crowns replaced and am very glad I did. I am now essentially recovered after being disabled for a while.
