Guest guest
I'm experimenting with sprouting again, since I had various sprouting mixes sitting around plus way too many lentils, etc. Any ideas how to eat them aside from raw in salads? WAPF had various cautions about eating them raw. It talked about " lightly steaming " them but that doesn't sound all that palatable. Does anyone have experience with simple sprout recipes? In the WAPF archives, Dr. Cowan says for allergy sufferers to: " Eat foods high in the full vitamin C complex such as sprouts, sauerkraut, raw milk and fresh berries. " In the WAPF FAQ it says " Sprouting increases some nutrients but also some toxins (which protect the sprouts from animals eating them). Also remember that in traditional societies, the grains and legumes that were sprouted were then cooked. " Thanks, Jeanmarie
