Guest guest
My solution would be to start with the ones you get first! Cut it into pieces and start with a small dose. After awhile (if the low dose isn't helping) bump it up or try the others. I will still have some regular discs when I order the new ones and I have no intention of letting them go to waste. They can be frozen in an airtight baggie. They can always be back-ups. > > > > Hi > well I was supposed to get my Prokarin on Friday, but they had the ZIP code wrong   so I won't be getting it until next week. When I talk to the pharmacist, I found out that they sent the regular Prokarin, so I'll be trying it on Monday. Since he thought that the ice pack would not last till Monday, they are sending me the enhanced and I should receive it by Wednesday. Guest guest
One thought is IP6 so you are killing two birds with one stone - ridding iron deposits, and stopping constipation.I was using IP6 every day, along with all my usual supplements, and they had the desired effect and were getting rid of iron deposits too. I have stopped for a few weeks/months until I get the summer swimming underway as I didn't want any potential problems in the pool. I'd run out of calcium and magnesium as those I received were faulty. I have been amazed that I haven't had a constipation issue. Maybe it is all down to CCSVI, I don't know.Worth a try Pamela.Janet To: mscured From: pamcastro@... Magnesium does not work for me Pamela Castro Carcelen point. I want to try the MAO-A (monoamine oxidase) in the enhanced formula. I wet a washrag and refrigerate it to use across my bare feet when I get hot. I'm still not standing without bars and when I used a higher dose I fell a couple of times in the bathroom or I needed help getting dressed. I couldn't lift my feet onto the footrest. I can lift them with the lower dose. I'm convinced that any complete recovery is going to happen with time and other missing elements besides histamine. I have to add magnesium oxide with the cal/mag supplements that come with the Prokarin. Otherwise, I'm extremely constipated and I think it's making me full of toxins. > In the evening when the patch wears off I put on one of my old worn patches and > > it helps to decrease the symptoms so I get through the evening until I go to >bed > > without any issues. Guest guest
I still take hcl with pepsin but I don't use as much Prokarin as you do. I just got some magnesium oxide (per Elaine's advice) and it has helped so far but I haven't been taking calcium for a few days like I should. Blood calcium has to be high when you use Prokarin or it will leach out of your bones. I feel like my digestion is good but something is blocking the exit! > > The prokarin made my stomach work better at digesting and moving food > through. It used to feel like food would just sit in my stomach and water too. > It doesn't block me up at all. > > > >
Guest guest
That is interesting about mitochondria. Dr. Terry Wahls was severely affected by MS and improved herself a lot party through a specific diet she researched that includes 9 cups of vegetables a day: 3 cups of sulfur rich, 3 cups of leafy green and 3 cups of bright colored (I think). You can see some You tube videos on her. She also wrote a book called Minding My Mitochondria that explains all of this. She has other parts to her cure which I am not familiar with. But I think it is interesting that the prokarin has something to do with mitochondria. Terry Wahls is a big proponent of kale. I started making Kale Chips using Terry Wahls recipe. They are delicious, and an easy way to get kale down. My naturopath told me she wants me to eat raw kale every day. So I am doing that now. > > Monoamine oxidase is the mitochondrial enzyme that some of us don't make that turns histamine into h2. > > > > > They have developed a product called " enhanced " Prokarin that has this enzyme in it (it's called mono-something). >
Guest guest
The difference is that red meat is recommended with Prokarin and MAO-A is in the " enhanced " version of the disc. Eating a vegan diet for over four years was bad for my thyroid, some people do well with it. Enzymes are important in many ways. > > That is interesting about mitochondria. Guest guest
We've been exchanging results. Check the archives to read them. I had my script changed to enhanced Prokarin but I haven't used them yet. Regular Prokarin started out with a bang and ended with a wimper. My hair, skin and nails became dry and my face aged from lack of moisture towards the end of the first month (among other things). I was missing an enzyme necessary to break down the histamine into a neurotransmitter and I was producing too much serotonin. It was great in the beginning. The enhanced version contains the enzyme (MAO-A). Not everyone needs to take this version. > > Hello, > I have started Prokarin  too ( 2 weeks back) and have overcome my constipation > issues with the FOS tablets that Elaine recommends and probiotic tablets too. Guest guest
Thanks. I am using the enhanced version ( half patch). Hope it will help soon. Will give a feedback in a week.
