Yeppers, . You can definitely add it to your basic soap recipes.

Just be sure to adjust the lye with a lye calculator!

Hi ,

I live in Lynchburg and I buy my beeswax from Dadant & Son, he carries both

refined and unrefined (I think that is what its called, one's yellowish with

honey scent and the other is white, little or no scent). I buy my in 10 oz

boxes that are already measured in 1 oz each. I get the white refined. They

are $4.15 per 10 oz box. See if you have them in your area, if not I will be

happy to pick up some boxes for you and mail them to you....

,

I was just searching for some too and did a comparison between 7 different

suppliers.....Snowdrift Farms has yellow or white pastilles for $6.75/pound

and the next cheapest was Good Foods in PA but the stuff is in blocks Natural

- golden - refined: $5.99/pound, Natural - White - Refined: $7.45/pound.

I'm gonna try Snowdrift myself......

soap on!
