a doctor on our chapter leader group advises that we NOT use Arm &

Hammer baking soda, as it contains aluminum. Bob's Red Mill is

aluminum free.

Looks Great (your blog), but I'd like to mention though that I saw your

picture of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and would recommend you use a brand

that

specifically says it contains no ALUMINUM. I understand A & H says 100%

Sodium Bicarbonate but it contains Aluminum in it. I know it's not on

the label

but it does....I've tested it independently....go to altmedsales.com

for more

info.

ALUMINUM FREE BAKING SODA:

Bob's Red Mill offers a lot of baking aids to compliment our

wide range of whole grain products. All of our products we try and

offer

as natural as possible. our Baking Soda comes from a natural source and

is aluminum free.

Some other companies chemically produce their baking soda by

creating a

chemical reaction between soda ash and carbon dioxide.

Our Baking Soda is from Sodium Bicarbonate which is naturally

occurring in

northwestern Colorado. In the mining process, water is used to

extract the

sodium bicarbonate and no chemicals are used. A closed loop process

leaves the community and its surrounding virtually untouched.
