Guest guest
Dear Forum, I am outreach worker by profession for the past five years. During my career i noticed a sad part that there is no care given for the PLHA who are in terminal care. There are many people working for prevention but for how long?. There are people working for Care and support, but do they look after the clients who are under terminal stage-especially the PLHA who are deserted by their families. I have noticed that nobody is coming forward to take care. There is necessity for the NGO's and Networks to make arrangements for that. But the sad part is that all are busy with their projects-like giving counseling to the clients they identify. Is counseling only enough. There are NGO's working to fulfill their non medical needs. But what about the terminal care. I feel that SACS should take necessary steps regarding this. Hope something good may happen for the PLHA who are under terminal care.
