Took 5-HTP at bed time. Needed a lower dose than what was recommended.

Have found the progressive body scan medidation (Jon Kabat-Zinn) to be more

effective to get me to relax and fall asleep. Racing thoughts are no match for

it. Plus, it is free and has no side effects.

is that Valerian root?  boy that stuff sure works!  the 1st time i took 2

tablets about my normal bedtime. it took about 1 hour to work but the next day

i couldn't wake up until 3pm so the next time i only took 1 tablet about 2

hours before bed time and when bed time came i slept so deep and peacefully and

i woke up so refreshed and ready to start the day!
