Guest guest
I would think it would be the opposite - the hormones in tap water (from all the women on birth control and hormone replacement therapy peeing and it not being removed by water treatment plants) could cause hormone problems and cause hair loss. I just read two remedies for hair loss that I just happen to be using (for other things) - one is stinging nettle and the other is the cinnamon/honey mix. I just started mixing the stinging nettle in my mint tea because you can't taste it and it's supposed to be health-promoting overall; then I found out it is also supposed to help prevent hair loss. Honey is supposed to do that as well. I'm doing the honey/cinnamon mix daily to get my hormones and blood sugar back under control after a bad reaction to a drug I was given - and it's working wonderfully well, thankfully! There could be something to the low mineral content in the distilled water causing hair problems. I've read about this and it seems all you need to do to remedy it is put a stone in your water container. The pure water is caustic so it will dissolve minerals out of the stone. Limestone is a good choice - contains calcium. I think you can buy limestone chips at lawn stores. They may even give you one. In animals hair loss can be associated with allergies. One to be wary of is sodium lauryl sulfate in shampoo - causes allergic reactions to may people. Guest guest
Mix 1 part cinnamon and 2 parts raw honey. Take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon a day. Some versions have you steep the cinnamon in hot water for 30 min. Then add the honey (after the water has cooled). A pinch of sea salt might just do the trick! > > > > > > Has any experienced any ill effects with Distilled water, especially in relation to hair fall?
