doing lots of CLO, lots of broth, and lots of fermented dairy and veggies. Good

There is definitely some conspiring going on over this phony pandemic, but

it's not a conspiracy to kill off old people. Only about 1% of those

affected by this particular flu are 65 and older. Further, this virus is

extremely mild - not a big killer despite the mainstream media hype over

deaths (some of which aren't confirmed H1N1 deaths).

Yes, the first H1N1 " shot " being rolled out is a LIVE virus nasal spray

vaccine and yes there is historical precedence of such a vaccine CAUSING a

We were doing most of the immune boosters that were listed but we still

got it. lol I'm getting over it (pregnant at that because you know we

pregnant woman are all going to die too along with the old people) my

husband is in the thick of it and my oldest is on the down slope, then

my youngest two are starting to maybe show signs of it. It is pretty

mild considering. It just knocks you down for a couple of days. And your

appetite is pitiful. Will we survive? I'm pretty sure we'll be okay, I

don't run to the ER for things like this, I run to my homepathic

remedies kit. As well as a few herbals, some whole food supplements... I

don't even have Tylenol, Motrin or any of the usual over the counter

stuff in my house, it's just not worth it. I did buy a couple of neat

books on homeopathic and herbal treatment of the 1918 flu. Those have

been quite an interesting read.

I might have gotten the flu.  Everyone in the house was extremely sick for one

or two days.  Can this virus mutant into something more violent...

I believe the Wiki said there were many deaths from it back in 1918.  That being

from the non mutated form of it.

More like 20 to 50 million but that is hard to say as they weren't able

to keep as good of records in the less developed countries.

You are freaking out here a little aren't you.. In the allopathic

hospitals the 1918 flu was a pandemic, in natural hospitals it wasn't.

What's interesting is that the flu killed those with strong immune

systems. However, it also tended to be those who didn't want to rest.

Children and elderly really didn't have much choice in the matter. So

while children were confined to their bed, mother worked herself to

death, literally. In the natural hospitals is was claimed one of the

worst things you could do was take Aspirin (big pain killer/fever

reducer at the time) as it made it much harder for the person to

recover. Which Aspirin was the leading treatment in allopathic

hospitals, go figure.

Yeah the NSAIDs can kill you and the flu gets blamed.

Also the CDC is skewing numbers in their favor. 1) 36,000 flu deaths they

report but of those 34,000 are actually pneumonia and TB and not necessarily

flu at all 2) they are declaring anyone with a fever and chills right now to

have h1n1 as they are not taking actual lab samples for testing.

And then as these vaccines are administered they will claim the h1n1 killed

the people who react badly since it is common for the vaccines to actually

induce the illness. Those who get the flumist are also contagious and

shedding h1n1 for up to 21 days so the " high risk " people are sent to go and

get it then they go to school, work, or home to the rest of us and give us

this disease through the vaccine.

Those who present with the fever/chills are automatically given Tamiflu

which has serious side effects especially in children that include dangerous

vomiting which can kill a child very quickly but again the drug won't be

blamed, it will be added to the h1n1 stats.

Thus is a pandemic is created! It's really quite brilliant in a sinister

Dr. Evil type way.

I agree.  I live near a major university and a nurse at the on campus medical

center said that the CDC issued a memo to them that anyone presenting with fever

and chills just count as swine flu and they're not testing ANYONE because the

test costs $6000 a person!  It makes you wonder how many people they are testing

at all and how accurate they're numbers are considering the more cases the more

money for the pharm companies making the vaccine.  Now there's a conspiracy

theory for you.

 

As far as the 1918 pandemic the number of deaths is debatable because record

keeping was not as good (or considering the paragraph above record keeping is

pretty much the same) but many of the deaths were contributed to underlying

health conditions that were untreated or treated differently at the time.  For

example, people with respiratory ailments like asthma had no medicine (they

drank coffee) so the flu is pretty deadly.  there are lots of cases where the

flu killed young people in rural areas who worked in mines, etc...but doesn't

say how many of these people had underlying respiratory ailments that were not

only untreated but when the flu hits and they can't breathe there was no

treatment.  Many deaths were also in localized areas where there were small pox

and TB outbreaks at the same time.   Also, hospitals in general were " death

camps " (that's my word for them) and were major disease spreaders.  And I agree,

women worked themselves to

death.

Another list has been discussing this and one thing they say is a lot of colds

and flu are caught in the ear, not the nose/mouth like we've been told. Putting

hydrogen peroxide in the ears at the first sign of an illness will cure it 80%

of the time within 12 hours. Just a few drops in each ear. I looked it up and

found some rather scientific-looking verification on that.

Still, this flu is not to be taken lightly for everyone just because

it's not much worse than a normal seasonal flu. It's milder for

adults, but harder on kids. No telling whether it's because the

current generation of children has overall weaker immunity in general

than previous generations, though that wouldn't be surprising. I heard

a doctor talking about it on NPR yesterday and he did contradict what

he said were a lot of myths going around about the safety of this

vaccine, but one thing stuck in my mind was that he said people under

50 don't have immunity to this virus. Well, I'm 51 so I guess I'm in

the clear! Plus I'm taking FCLO, etc.

I found out over the weekend, though, that my 6-year-old nephew Jake

has to go to the emergency room for *any* flu because of his history

of encephalitis and seizures. (He almost died about 3 years ago.) I'm

trying to work up to suggesting FCLO to my sister-in-law but I don't

want to scare her off of WAP principles if I mishandle it... She

thinks I'm very knowledgeable about nutrition but I haven't told her

much of what I have come to know through WAPF because it would indict

much of what she feeds her family, and it's a delicate thing... Any

suggestions as to how to bring this up? I don't have kids so it's hard

to make recommendations to parents, they can always say " you wouldn't

know, you don't have kids. "

The doctor I heard on NPR this week (sorry I didn't catch his name or

organizational affiliation) said the 1976 flu was actually misnamed

swine flu, it was actually related to bird flu and seasonal human flu.

Wait, maybe that was the current one... I'll try to verify that. At

any rate, the point was the 1976 flu and the current swine flu aren't

really the same thing and one of them has been misnamed, so they

aren't really comparable.

That's not my point. The Swine Flu of 1976 was a huge debacle with the

way it was handled. One know person actually died of it and the untested

vaccination that they started pumping into everyone killed 3 people

immediately and cause 1098 cases of Guillain-Barre Syndrome. The current

problem again is they are throwing untested vaccinations out there to

vaccinate the public against this so called killer flu.

And as for who gets it worst... So far, my husband has had it the worst

and the kids have bounced back the fastest and have it more mildly.

Anyway, it doesn't matter where the flu came from it's the reaction and

deaths they caused later.

Yes, pneumonia killed them for the most part after they were Aspirined

to prostration. Aspirin has some very nasty side effects and not just in

children. There is also Adult Reyes Syndrome which seems to have many of

the same symptoms of what were considered fatal symptoms of the 1918 flu.

AIDS didn't kill anyone.  It happened to be the other viruses people got from a

weakened immune system.  But it is sensible to blame it on AIDS.  Or you can

blame it on what causes AIDS, and the backwards modern treatments they use on

AIDS and HIV patients.  But anyway, it's the same problems, different virus.

2 tspns of high vitamin fermented codliver oil and a source of k2 and quinones

from raw dairy milk or raw dairy butter from grassfed cows would probably be the

best choice.  Make sure to have them together in the same sitting.  Other good

choices for immune system health are bone broth and coconut oil.  That amount of

fclo may be too much for kids, so look at the WAPF homepage for intake

recommendations.

The hydrogen peroxide treatment for the ears sounds good.  Most kids don't take

in enough liquids, maybe suggest to the parents these kids could try drinking

raw milk.  They may not like the taste of it.  Adding a tblspn of unheated honey

for every cup of raw milk helps with some of the taste and absorption, and also

adding chocolate syrup or raw cacao syrup (if you can find a kind that tastes

good) would improve it's flavor.  Another choice would be to add vanilla extract

to it.

Some people have a difficult time digesting raw milk, so maybe making a homemade

raw yogurt and blending it into a tasty shake to rebuild there probiotic and

enzyme stores would really help with that.

I wasn't contradicting you on any point, just sharing a tidbit of

related information. The doctor I heard on NPR contradicted a lot of

the things that various people are claiming about the current vaccine.

I don't know who is right; I'm seeking information from all credible

sources. He didn't address all my questions, so while he seemed

credible on several points, it doesn't remove all my reservations.

Wow, what are you reading? Most kids fall in love with the taste of raw

milk and won't drink anything else. Raw milk is much sweeter than what

you get in the store. Do you drink it? You'd know that otherwise. We've

had our milk described as " drinking ice cream. " As for digesting..

usually people have no trouble digesting raw milk because all the

digestive enzymes are intact. They need to drink whole milk, which

includes the cream as that is where many of the needed enzymes are. Kids

generally love coconut oil as well and bone broth, my kids tend to

demand chicken stock when they are sick because it makes them feel better.
