Guest guest
Would just like to add - our cats live mainly outdoors. I used to feed them raw (waste) meat from the supermarket, they would also hunt. 1 year ago the supermarket stopped selling the pet meat & we ended up feeding them mainly canned food (we can't afford to feed them all meat) - suddenly our 11 year-old white cat got cancer on his ears & had them cut off - I believe the change in food was the culprit. Guest guest
Hi Jewel, Sorry to hear about your cat. I have been able to find food for my dogs from some of the grass-fed farmers in the area. Many of them keep so many herd dogs, usually Pyrs, which eat all the meat scraps! But, some of the farmers sell their scraps for pet food. Kathy From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of jeweltoo2002 Sent: Tuesday, October 20, 2009 9:56 PM Subject: OT - Re: healthy diet for a cat? Guest guest
Also around here there are hunters who get far too much to eat, we are paying for processing to get some venison and other things. Maybe a wild hog (wont feed that raw though). =) Dawn From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Kathy Dickson Sent: Tuesday, October 20, 2009 11:20 PM Subject: RE: OT - Re: healthy diet for a cat?
