Guest guest
Dear Forum, The National Aids Control Organisation has requested Freedom Foundation to organise a meeting of capable and interested civil society organisations (HIV/AIDS , TB , & Malaria) from the states of Tamilnadu , Karnataka , Kerala , & Andhra Pradesh to develop a concept note and subsequent proposal for the India Global Fund round 9 proposal. The indicated thematic area would be in addressing the vulnerability of women and children in accessing health care in the context of HIV/AIDS. It is important to note that we are inviting local indigenous organisations (including faith based)who have a demonstratative capacity to manage and implement large projects. Interested organisations are requested to send in a small note of intent and contact details at the earliest (by 06/10/08) to freedom_ho@... Guest guest
Dear Civil Society Members, Re: /message/9496 I do not have anything personal against anybody. But I am amazed how NACO guides the process of GFATM proposal development, throwing the whole purpose of Civil Society participation out of the window. I really think if all what we have got till now from GFATM (including the projects in pipeline) really reflects needs of the affected and infected groups or the needs of babudom? It would be an interesting analysis to see how many Sub Recipients currently are or have been members of the CCM? Does any one have such analysis? Please post. Warm Regards, Rajiv Rajiv Dua e-mail: <rajivdua@...>
