Guest guest
AIDS Forum This is response to study quoted. 1. " Dr. Paranjape is obviously not the only study that has looked at the association of HIV and fertility. However, there is still ambiguity about the causal effect of HIV infection on fertility of infected women. " 2. While most studies suggest that women with HIV infection have lower fertility [ for example Zaba & Gregson and Ross and others ] and higher incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome " In my observation over 10 years I have not obseved any adverse outcome in HIV positive women, The number of HIV positive women coming with pregnancy (that too multigravida) are many more than those positive women coming for infertility. Thus clearly indicate that most infected in early age do not have effect of fertility.
