There is normally a very long recovery period for this ailment with extreme weakness being a symptom. It sounds like a candida issue to me. > Do you agree? +++Hi Darlene B. The person could have candida in addition to mono. It always points to a depressed immune system. There are no quick fixes, and I wouldn't be able to advise someone who isn't on my program. > > You are fabulous dear Bee!!!! I have been on the diet for over a year. I have posted previously about not progressing on the diet. I have felt very frustrated since learning of this new diagnosis. I'm not sure what to do right now due to the lack of progress and the EBV. Do you have any recommendations/advice for me? Thank you so much! Would you please list the supplements you are taking, the brands, serving size, and amount of nutrients in them. Are you taking any drugs, birth control pills, hormones, etc. or any herbs and supplements not on my list? The best, Bee

Guest guest
Hi , You are taking the correct supplements and doses, so that's good. How long have you had thyroid problems? Depending upon that timing you should be going off of them gradually since your thyroid will recover and be normal again. In the past did you take hormones (other than thyroid), birth control pills, hormone replacement treatments (estrogen or progesterone), etc.? If so, how long did you take them and how long ago did you stop taking them. I took progesterone about 2 1/2 years ago for about 6 months, but no other hormones. I have had my thyroid tested recently and don't believe it is improving yet. I recently switched to compounded thyroid hormone after being on Armour and finding out about the reformulation. Testing on 12/3/09 before the switch showed my TSH was 6.19, my T-3 free was 224, and my T-4 free was .8. I was tested on 1/12/10 after the switch and my TSH was 2.93, my T-3 free was 224 (still) and my T-4 free was 1.0. So my TSH and T-4 tests showed improvements with the compounded medication, but my T-3 free level stayed the same. I will try to have my thyroid levels tested again in March. So what do you think I can do to support my body's healing response and to help this EBV? I feel that I need to do something more to support my body (maybe specifically my liver?) but I'm not sure what to do. I am still not detoxing/retracing/having die off that I can tell; I just feel tired all the time. Thanks again,

If it developed since you've been on my program, the reasons could be stress or not following the program accurately. Ensure you are consuming high ratios of good fats which cleanses your body and helps it detoxify. Also be sure you are not consuming any unnatural fats. Also ensure you are consuming the correct ratios of protein to fat to carbs. Does your liver hurt? I think you should do the 9-Day Program to get you past this: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php Let me know how it goes. I have been eating mainly all pureed foods for the last 5 to 7 months to try to aid digestion and elimination. My husband thinks I am crazy. I am not doing enemas though. When you say to do the 9 day program, do you mean the enemas as well? I am thinking I may have developed the EBV right when I started this program due to stress I guess. Also, since my energy levels are so low still, do you think my liver and gallbladder could possibly not be breaking down and utilizing the good fats properly? I appreciate all of your help,
