Guest guest
, where do you get the idea " most WAPF people probably live sedentary lifestyles " ? You're making all kinds of huge assumptions here. All kinds of people belong to WAPF, and we're not all as interested in precision nutrient calculations and calorie counting as you are. I've been there, done that in my life, no longer interested. And I'm not sedentary. Counting calories is *not* good for *everybody*. Some people have found that feeds their food obsession, and not in a good way. Learning to stop counting calories can be part of recovery for bulimics and anorexics. And VO2Max? That's relevant if you're a competitive athlete, and most of us aren't, nor do we desire to be. Maybe people here are as bored by this stuff as I am, and maybe that's why no one else is talking about it. If you enjoy doing all that, then enjoy it, please, but not everyone is interested and that's fine, too. There are blogs and mailing lists that focus on that sort of thing if you need to talk about it more. Someone recommended Mark's Daily Apple. I think he's good. There's also fitnessspotlight.com, and I'm sure there are many others that combine both nutrition and fitness. Guest guest
Here's an example of not taking in enough calories. A 130 pound sedentary person who works an office job would want to take in 2760 calories a day. They could do that everyday. That is 47 grams of protein, 97 grams of carbs, and 243 grams of fat. That's hardly anorexic and would not include being bulimic. This would be good because the individual would have more balanced moods and more healthy muscle development without even working out. > > From: cbrown2008 <cbrown2008 (DOT) com> > Subject: Re: This guy appears to be the perfect candidate for > what is lacking in WAPF. > > Date: Friday, August 28, 2009, 11:05 AM > > > > > This way you can measure down to a " t " just > > > how much carb and fat you need to store before an activity. > > > You can also measure the amount of calories > > > you need to take in a day. > > LOL I can but I sure won't.
