Guest guest
, May I ask your expert advice? I just complete a clomid challenge test with the following results: CD3 CD10 FSH 8.2 17 Estradiol 24 494 LH 4.1 13 A scan on CD 13 showed 3 follicles on the R ovary (27,26 and 14 mm) and no significant activity at all on the L ovary. I am 42.5 years old (married 20 yrs) and we also deal with pretty severe male factor. It looks pretty grim, but I'm wondering about the possibility of trying injectibles for 1 cycle, just to see if there is much response. If we had no children, I'd try in a minute. However, I am blessed to finally have 2 girls (ages 7 and 3.5), after losing 3 other pregnancies along the way. The financial, emotional and time outlay for such low odds of success seem like a poor investment. If it weren't for my 2 daughters, I would have given all my baby stuff away already. They still pray every night for twin boys, " ... if it isn't too much trouble and we could handle it just fine! " Any thoughts? It's OK to be brutally honest. I truly could go either way on this. Thanks! Darlene
