Guest guest
My husband isn't too into caring about his health, not at the level of Nourishing Traditions folk. But, I care about him LOTS so I give him the best I can that he will accept. My question today is centered on the general guideline that cod liver oil is considered the or one of the top supplements to give. I and the kids take it but he won't. So, first, does anyone have an article that will sum it all up on all the reasons he should? Next, if he won't take it, how do I get the Vit A? He will not eat liver. I have a better chance of him taking cod liver oil than eating liver. I know I can easily give him D drops for Vit D3. So, with Vitamin A is there a supplement in capsules I can give him? I've seen Dry Vitamin A in capsules--any brand that will do? I know to look for fish-derived but there are so many brands of supplements, I wonder if there's something out there I haven't seen. Part of the problem lies in oil-filled capsules, which make him burp fish taste. I haven't explored powdered glandulars like those from Dr. Ron's. Is there a way to mask the taste of those?
