This is new to me. I know you can absorb some things under the tongue

for quicker effect (such as L-Glutamine powder for sugar cravings) but

stomach acid is *supposed to* " destroy " things, i.e., break them down

as part of digestion. I'm not sure something like CLO would be

absorbed through the tissues under the tongue; my understanding is

most foods cannot be and should not be absorbed directly into the

bloodstream unless they're already broken down to the level of amino

acids or glucose, or they'd be perceived by the immune system as

invaders, as in leaky gut syndrome.

Weston Price did it for very sick people and it revived them. I thought

we were all supposed to do it that way. I will email Sally.

Good to know. I find it puzzling though. Maybe that method would help

me, because the Fruit Attack gel-style FCLO tastes so terrible to me I

cannot swallow it, can only wash it down with another liquid, with

great difficulty. My boyfriend can take it straight without water, go

figure.

That Fruit Attack gel is HORRIBLE, isn't it? I bought it for my two year old

and she's completely unwilling to take it. AND it's made her fearful of all

other medicine by mouth. Good stuff. :P

I wasn't impressed with the chocolate cream gel either but i don't

think I'll have trouble disguising it in smoothies for myself. The

cinnamon flavor is by far the best I find. My preschooler grudgingly

takes it, with an elderberry syrup chaser in a shot glass.

I think we might have to go a compromise route until my daughter is a bit older

and can be reasoned with (if there is such an age!) or at least bribed. I'm

taking a ton of it myself and since she's still nursing, hopefully it's getting

to her. I think I'm going to have to start her another supplement in the

meantime though- it's just too challenging to get this into her reliably and she

definitely needs supplementation.

The cinnamon is good. I noticed they've changed it a bit and added some stevia-

I was more fond of the old formulation, but this stuff is okay. Part of the

issue is that nasty burn you get in your throat after you take it too.... Ugh.

I know it's the best brand etc for me and I willingly take it but man, I long

for the days that I thought Carlsons flavored CLO was the " good stuff. " lol

Wait a minute...are you saying you get the burn with the EMULSIFIED

cinnamon? The entire point of emulsifying it, as I understand it, was to

eliminate the burn. We're about to order some of the new emulsified stuff,

but if it burns, my dad won't take it at all so I need to order something

that kids think is OK. My dad is a big kid in that he won't take it if it

tastes bad :-(

I bought six bottles of assorted flavors to get the discount. I

certainly hope the other flavors are better! We are eating it though.

But, ugh!
