The laws vary by state. Since this is an Amarillo, TX website, they are

most likely referring to Texas state regulations that only allow dairies to

sell raw milk on their premises. New York state law does not allow raw

dairy in stores. Many (most) other states have similar laws and raw milk

cannot be purchased in stores. If you live in CA or one of the states that

does allow it, consider yourself lucky to have such free access to it!

And some states do not allow the sale of raw milk at all!

Some states have that rule, but not California, for certified raw

dairies.
