Yikes (about the leakage)! Glad you are okay. I would recommend getting the

doppler ultrasound for CCSVI. I was on the fence about CCSVI until last

month when my MRI showed an active lesion. I had the ultrasound done, and I

scored 3 out of 5 (only 2 are needed to be a candidate). For example, the

one test measured the cross sectional area of the vein. Normal is 6-8 mm^2.

The cutoff for CCSVI is 3 mm^2. Mine was 0.05 mm^2. Very little blood

flowing through that vein. I'm looking to have the surgery at the end of

August.

If you get the ultrasound, make sure it is done by a tech who knows CCSVI.

The tech that did mine said she has seen a lot of scans that were done

incorrectly (e.g. a scan of the artery instead of the vein). Mine took a

full two hours. Good luck!

You might also try to strengthen your endothelium (the lining on the blood

vessels). I believe that berries are good for this; not sure what else (diet

wise).

Have a blessed day!
