Guest guest
My doctor has been recommending that I look into CCSVI but it seemed a little too invasive for me as I am 63 and still pretty mildly affected. Then five days ago I ended up in surgery with a leakage of venous blood in the brain. It had evidently been going on for some time - possibly a few months. I thought I was having an MS exacerbation brought on by a rare (for me) sinus infection until my kids found me incoherant on the floor. Thankfully, I am doing very well and am back to what used to be normal for me. Now I am wondering if there could be any connection between subdural hematoma and CCSVI. CCSVI no longer seems very invasive as I'm sporting the enstein look right now. Any thoughts? None of the neurologists that I've talked to here have ever heard of CCSVI. This is almost always brought on by a head injury and the neuro says that even people with heamophilia don't generally bleed in the brain. They don't know what brought this on. I'd love to hear any thoughts. Marilyn
