Guest guest
I would NEVER ever put iodine in my ears. I tried it once and I thought that I was going to die the pain was so bad. Please do not try this. My husband still tells me that this was the craziest thing that I ever did. Guest guest
Sorry Haecklers loved your info but didn¹t want to see anyone try this. Like you said, it hurts really bad. And that can¹t be emphasized enough. Guest guest
Yes, my husband still gives me a hard time that putting iodine in my ear was the stupidest thing I have ever done. We almost went to the ER. I do put hydrogen peroxide In my ear regularly. It is bar none the best thing to get rid of a sore throat. When ever I feel something coming on, I put it in my ear. If it bubbles then I know that I got a bug. It¹s amazing when you have a sore throat and use it and by the time you are done the sore throat is completely gone. I use it by putting a few drops in my ear and then let it sit for about 3 5 minutes until the bubbling stops. Guest guest
Hydrogen peroxide, standard 3% solution found at the drugstore, is much safer. It tickles but shouldn't be painful. Good for getting rid of bad stuff in the ears. I follow with Nutribiotic's GSE ear drops. Jeanmarie On Oct 12, 2009, at 1:44 PM, haecklers wrote: > > No need to apologize - it DOES hurt really bad. Guest guest
I have used food grade h202 that I diluted down to 3%. Going to try it now as I feel a flu trying to start and my immune system is so out of whack. It does tickle, feels very weird but I totally zapped an ear infection that was starting with it.
