Guest guest Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 UNITED STATES: " FDA Approves New HIV Blood Test from Roche " Associated Press (12.30.08) On Dec. 29, federal regulators announced they have approved a Roche human plasma test for HIV, including HIV-2 and HIV-1 Group O strains. The latter strains are mainly found in patients from Africa, but the Food and Drug Administration said cases have recently been detected in the United States.
