institute for Leadership Development, unit of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement

is happy to announce the opening for the FOURTH batch of “Master's Degree in

Management of Non Profit Organizationâ€. The course is being offered in

collaboration with University of Mysore.

We have the honor to say that this is the country’s

FIRST University affiliated Masters degree program in non profit management.

The USP of the course has been

“the opportunities the students get for hands on experience of project

management and administrative aspects of nonprofit organizationsâ€.

Recently the papers on Integrated Water Management, Community Based Health

Management and Sustainable Technology has been added to equip the

students for the tomorrow’s prime foci of the development sector. The students

also study Human Resource Management, Financial Management and Marketing Management

in addition. VILD also offers students, opportunities for action research and

also Earn While You Learn Scheme.

Graduate

of any University, with minimum aggregate marks of 45% in their Bachelor’s

Course is eligible for admission. The last date for admission is 10th

December 2008. On completion of 2 semesters the University of Mysore

confers Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Non Profit Organizations.

Candidates successfully completing all the 4 semesters are awarded Master’s

Degree in Management of Non Profit Organizations (MNPM) by the University of

Mysore.

The

course is operated on a lecture, discussion, case studies and student

participation format.

The Course offers YOUTH career

opportunities in Management in Non Profit sector viz., Government, Non

Government Organizations, atives, Corporate Foundations and Social

Responsibility Cells in Corporate. Till date, all the two batches of students

who have passed out are placed in prestigious Non Profit institutions in the

country including Government.

The

course fees is Rs.48000 per year. Education loans are sanctioned to all

eligible candidates ( as RBI guidelines) by all Nationalized BANKS. VILD

facilitates sanction of Education loans. For those students who are found

eligible by the banks for the loan, admission is granted on payment of

Rs.12000. Students are allowed to pay the balance on sanction of the loan.

Shared

accommodation is available in the Hostel.
