Unfortunately it " works " since when people complain it is usually

directly to the FDA, thereby inviting them to take over.

The only solution, near as I can see, is just like the food

situation....know your supplier and only deal with those you can trust.

Somewhat limiting in the case of supplements (I'm deliberately in an

area where much safe food is produced so I don't find it a limitation in

access to safe food) and furthermore, hard to assess.

I try now to manage my diet/lifestyle to keep the need for supplements

to a minimum and rarely find the need for them now, but hen I lived in

an urban area with less access to good food I relied on them.

Not funny, for sure---not to mention unsafe.

Which supplement brand was it. I think the best way to discourage this

behavior by supplies it to vote with our dollars.
