Guest guest
When I was 10 years old, I broke a front tooth off at the gumline. Dentist pulled the nerves out (with no anesthetic...) and put a cap on it. It has bothered me in different ways ever since. Would that have been a pulpectomy? Anyway, the whole tooth feels loose or something now, and the thought of those toxic materials maybe causing some of my other problems -- I would love to hear people's thoughts and experiences on bridges or whatever I might be able to get done there. This is my very front tooth, and the other very front tooth had a corner broken off and a cap put over that. I really don't want to go through the rest of my life missing a front tooth :+P > > I was looking up root canal dangers for a friend and came across an article saying there's a link between root canals and breast cancer, specifically - in one study 100% of women with breast cancer had had root canals. Wow. > > My son had had a pulpectomy - the pulp of a tooth removed and then a crown put on. From that time on he complained of pain in his stomach/belly button and legs. I found out recently that belly button pain can be associated with inflammation in the appendix so I guess we're lucky it never burst. You know when it got better? When he had a tootsie roll and pulled the cap off (he didn't tell me and I didn't notice for many months). > > http://www.new-cancer-treatments.org/Articles/RootCanals.html >
