Guest guest
I noticed posts on glandulars and while codliver oil isn't a glandular I was wondering if had a direct impact on the health of the liver. If someone has liver problems would this be one of the top things recommended?
Guest guest
Yes, the vitamin A makes it good for the liver! Interesting tidbit, in my horse natural care book, CLO is recommended to help heal an ulcerated cornea, and in Pat Colby's Natural Horse Care book, she recommends it in the winter when your pasture is not in good shape and therefore the horses aren't getting enough Vitamin A. For me, in Texas, the pasture is in worse shape in August than any other month, so this year, I gave the horses some CLO, Green Pastures cinnamon flavored! I'm not sure how they are going to like the fermented stuff, though.
