Guest guest
Missing them is not an option, as it will cause the other teeth to move and crowd. I knocked out my two front teeth multiple times growing up, had root canals on each, my body is currently reabsorbing them, and I have been looking into replacement options for a number of years and trying to save up the needed money to get the procedure done. The looseness is probably reabsorption of the tooth, which begins inside the gums and works out until one day it just falls out... I know, sounds unpleasant, which is why I am trying to plan mine for before that happens but the procedure for implants is expensive, especially if done by a well-qualified person, and it sounds like something in life that skimping on just doesn't make sense. Per bridges, I am opposed after much research. This procedure, from what I have read and talked through other dentists with, permanently damages other surrounding teeth. Implants seem to be the best way to go in an otherwise bad situation. I have seen some people raise concerns about the body's electrical/magnetic fields, but otherwise if you work with a good dentist or prothstodontist (sorry for the wrong spelling, it is very early here), I have been impressed by the short and longer term results. > > > > I was looking up root canal dangers for a friend and came across an article saying there's a link between root canals and breast cancer, specifically - in one study 100% of women with breast cancer had had root canals. Wow. > > > > My son had had a pulpectomy - the pulp of a tooth removed and then a crown put on. From that time on he complained of pain in his stomach/belly button and legs. I found out recently that belly button pain can be associated with inflammation in the appendix so I guess we're lucky it never burst. You know when it got better? When he had a tootsie roll and pulled the cap off (he didn't tell me and I didn't notice for many months). > > > > http://www.new-cancer-treatments.org/Articles/RootCanals.html > > >
