Guest guest
Hi all, LOL. Even the guy that wrote the small book hates it. So much for leaders. Currently RR is groupless, so it's a pretty hard group to lead. Trimpey disavows all recovery group. I only bring this up, because, well, he wrote the small book. sean
Guest guest
Hi, Just to clarify..Trimpey has nothing to do with RR groups. So Trimpey's ego has no connecton with RR. When RR groups were disbanded many became SMART, which has again no connection with Trimpey. must be using very old information if he doesn;t know this. Jack Trimpey has nothing to do with RR groups. So , your entire rant makes no sense.
Guest guest
You talk as if AA speaks with one voice. We do not have a leader like the guy who wrote the small book. paul At 18:34 13/04/00 -0400, you wrote: >Man you guys are too much! Can't have it both ways. I was told that the >reason there are not many Smart meetings or RR meetings is because the >members got well and went on with their lives. So the AA members who say if you stop coming to meetings you will drink and die an alcoholic death are lying then? You can't have it both ways. Either AA is a crock and lies to people, or it doesn't. Here's a clue- it lies to people. You seem to be missing an important point. This list is a private list of people who have been harmed by and want to be away from your religion, not people who want or need to hear nonsense which they've already heard, sometimes for years on end and have already rejected. If you are seriously questioning the step religion, this is the place for you. However, if you simply want to parrot group doctrine, you will be bounced from the list. There is no shortage of places where you can parrot a slogan to the admiring nods of the zombies who recognize your spiritual wisdom. This is _not_ the place. Guest guest
Hey, Einstein! We've been to the meetings. We know you don't have a leader. We arrogantly reject your spiritual program nevertheless. We are incapable of working a simple program that requires rigorous honesty. Get it? We are a lost cause. Your Big Book says you're not supposed to be shoving the program down our throats. If we say, " We don't want what you have, " you're supposed to go looking for the next group of hopeless alcoholics to preach to. What part of " AA is for those who WANT it " do you fail to comprehend? Do you believe in that concept or is it just another pile of AA horseshit? Please leave us here to wallow in our own egotism and self-centeredness. If you stick around, you might catch some of our stinkin' thinkin'. Then you'd be staring a drink in the face! Run for your life! > You talk as if AA speaks with one voice. > > We do not have a leader like the guy who wrote the small book. > > paul > >
