Hi Ami,

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, we just recently took Coconut oil for cooking. We used to use sesame

oil before that.

I take " Raw VItamin Code " from Garden of Life. Been taking it since a few

months. However, I suspect that it is not enough to cope with the stress levels

and lack of sleep.

I also suspect that the indoor air quality might be an issue. We just moved into

a home recently and had some major work done - like replacing the carpets,

counter tops etc. I suspect there was some leftover dust etc. from the work as

most of us have got the sniffles.

thanks,

shaker.

I can't say for CLO only because I only started taking it, but IMO,

coconut oil is the best thing for viruses. I can chase away a cold/flu with a

couple of TBS's of coconut oil.

If you have a hard time with coconut oil (although I think a piece of toast with

coconut oil is heavenly), you can try coconut butter in hot water. It is quite

tasty.

I personally think you catch a lot of colds when your adrenal is exhausted

(stress could affect your adrenal glands (fight or flight) - supplement with

foods that contain tons of Vit C) or your thyroid is sluggish - underactive

(coconut oil will definitely rev it up).

However, there is still a lot of phlegm coming out. I don't have any

temperature, but I am not happy with so much phlegm coming out.

Get a source of sundried seasalt and have it daily. Himilayan is best. Try

culture your raw milk into raw yogurt. Have bee pollen and Pacifica unheated

unrefined bee honey daily. Have it with your raw milk.

I've read that most people are low in magnesium - the soils are depleted and

things like stress, coffee, and lack of sleep drain it from us. Supplementing

that may help.

Also, good quality probiotics, once or twice a day (yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut,

etc.) are supposed to prevent illness, at least in kids.

Check your air quality - it could be mold giving off spores somewhere. If you

work, you could ask the HVAC people - where I used to work we all got colds alot

and the HVAC guy said there was an area that was thick with nasty mold and

stuff. Finally one co-worker got legionnaire' s and almost died. Then they

cleaned it out. You could be getting gassed from sewer gas coming in through a

trap in an unused drain (the water evaporates over time). When your respiratory

systen is constantly under attack from pollutants or irritants, it can't fight

infections as well.

I've heard and some have verified it, that putting drops of hydrogen peroxide in

your ears several times a day can knock out a cold in a day. I tried it and got

an earache instead of a cold once. I then used colloidial silver instead and it

cleared right up.

Pomegranites helps fight off colds. Inhaling salty water (either using a netti

pot or a spritzer to spray a cloud into the air and then inhaling from it - do

that several times) can really clear congestion nicely.

I hope you feel better soon!
