I know what you are talking about.  I have MS and I have been told that I have

peripheral neuropathy in both of my legs and feet (basically nerve damage)

because of the Multiple Sclerosis attacking the nerves and damaging them.  This

does result in cold sensations, hot sensations, pins and needles, numbness or

even nerve pain that comes and goes or moves around in odd " hot spots " or " cold

spots " .  I find that when I lay down at night my feet suddenly feel like they

are ice cubes, but it I touch the skin on my feet, the skin is warm, not cold.

There is a homeopathic remedy that helps calm down the cold sensation in my

feet at night, that I take most nights, just before I go to bed.  It is called

Sulphur 30C and it helps to calm down that extremely cold sensation in my feet

to help make it easier for me to be able to go to sleep at night.  If I can't

get my feet warm, then I can't go to sleep.

Also, my homeopathic doctor has me taking the homeopathic remedy Natrum

muraticum in different doses (depending on what is going on with my symptoms at

that point).  This homeopathic remedy helps calm down many of the over

reactions of the nerves in Multiple Sclerosis, that are a result from the nerves

being attacked in MS.

Much of the weird sensations in Multiple Sclerosis is caused by peripheral

neuropathy or some type of damage to the nerves from that attacks of MS on the

nerves.

I hope that you found this information helpful.  I posted before recently about

how taking Benfotiamine and higher doses of Methyl B12 can help with repairing

nerve damage in MS.

Peace and Be Well,

Subject: Peripheral Neuropathy

Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I posted here, but I've started a new

symptom, that I don't know if it is MS related or something else. Any answers

would be greatly appreciated. For the last few days I have been experiencing a

cold sensation in my leg, pretty much in the same spot (below my right knee,

above my right ankle). My leg itself in not cold, the feeling is from the

inside. Looking up on-line I think it's called Peripheral Neuropathy (sensory).

Looking up reasons for this I only see chemotherapy and tumors, and I'm hoping

that's not the case, I'm actually hoping this is just MS related, because then I

know I can probably do something about it. Has anyone else experienced this, if

so do you know if there is anything out there that helps it? I can't even find

this in my alternative medicine books, so it's very frustrating and I really

don't want to go to my neurologist if I don't have to because I don't trust him.

He doesn't really believe a

thing I say anyway. Thank you in advance for any answers out there!

hi diane - really understand what you are going through as i have the same

problems with my legs

i have always been against 'ms meds' but my ms nurse recommended pregabalin for

leg neuro pain

shame but once nerve/endings bust they cannot be fixed

have posted this before about above drug [lyrica] but do so again

been on this 3 weeks and makes a difference, stopped baclofen/clonazepam/ldn

link:http: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACOxeQycCOU & feature=feedlik

pregabalin would appear also for spasticity so baclofen not needed

fingers x

good luck and best regards

peter
