I just TIVO¹ed this new program that is going to air this Friday at 5PM on

the Planet Green Channel which is 286 on our Direct TV. The name is Blood,

Sweat, and Takeaways and the commercial advertising the new show implied

that it would illuminate the true cost of cheap food. I have not seen an

episode yet but it looks like a very revealing docu drama type of show that

exposes the gross cost cutting that goes on to bring us our inexpensive

food.

I watched some of it from a British site a few months ago. If I'm remembering

it correctly it is really informative.
