There's a theory that low-level radiation actually enhances health and extends life expectancy and for awhile people were actively trying to expose themselves to radioactive materials to heal themselves. It was pretty widely known back then which hot springs had radioactive minerals in them. After reading Dr. Weber's articles saying that no level of radiation is safe and his evidence in support of that...http://technidigm.org/c5001/RBMK.htm > > I was looking up hot springs and found one that claims their water is unusually high in arsenic. I've never heard of arsenic being anything other than a 'bad thing'. Does anyone know what the benefit would be of soaking in water with a high arsenic content? >
