Hello Tia,

You don't need a doctor to determine whether you are hypothyroid. Take your

Basal temperature before getting out of bed. It takes 10 minutes to get a

correct reading. I don't even find naturopaths to know how to treat

hypothhyroid let alone an endo. I have a friend who is treating her mother for

COPD and the naturopath has not brought up hypothyroid.

I posted this site just two minutes ago. www.naturalthyroidchoices.com. You

might be low on iodine. When I first started learning about hormone issues, I

was afraid of iodine but now I'm taking 25 mg a day and I feel better. A baby

will literally suck a mother dry of iodine if she isn't supplementing whether it

is with food or in pill form.

There is plenty of information on the web.

www.stopthethyroidmadness.com is a good place to start.

I hope this helps.

just go to the lab and ask for a blood test for endocrine/hormone levels and

take it to the physician ?
