Thanks so much for your inputs. 

Glad to know that your dad has recovered and is doing good. 

I will try to get some kelp into my father's diet. We have ground kelp available

here in Whole Foods.

My dad was dx with prostate cancer five years ago. He started taking a

mixture of vitamins and minerals that touted ellagic acid as the healing

component. My dad is doing great and feels good. He is in his seventies and

works as a courier. I can't remember the name of the company.

Iodine would be the first thing I would add for prostate health. Interestingly,

the stuff my dad is taking has kelp in it.

You need to order it from a company who claims to have tested their kelp for

arsenic.

If you are looking for the ground form of kelp, www.mountainroseherbs.com is an

excellent source for organic herbs.

was diagnosed ?
